Negeri Bawah Bayu

Kota Kinabalu has always been my top 3 favourite cities in Malaysia
I was soooo happy when my mum told me that my father has a meeting there and that me and her are going to menyibok pergi aswell
Love KK for the nature but of course I didn't have the time to explore the forest side of KK, if I only had to choose between visiting the islands or the hills, it is a no brainer for me to answer the islands of course.
I've been to Pulau Sapi twice, never been to the other two Tunku abdul Rahman Park islands-Mamutik and Manukan
My mum was busy on the third day there, so I went on and called a friend I know from uni and asked whether he would come along to go island hopping with me. so yeay. I was fine going alone, but mom wouldnt let me. tu la-kadang kadang I ni boleh berlagak berani kan.
first stop-Pulau Manukan
 Meet my Sabahan friend, Hafizan
Oh this picture...I just had to share
for some reason I was constantly on the phone that day, the phone kept ringing every 10 minutes
and in the picture, I was on the phone with a lecturer
-__-
"Ye Sir, saya akan drop subject tu hari Isnin. sekarang saya di Sabah, Sir tolong lah drop kan boleh?"
Next stop-Pulau Mamutik
 non edited
a personal favourite out of the three islands would be Mamutik, notice the fact that Im being biased I have more pics taken in Mamutik hehe
oh sebelum saya lupa, at jetty a girl came up to me and my friend
girl: are you Malaysian?
me: yes
girl: would like to answer a questionnaire?
me: whats it about?
girl: tourism malaysia
me: oh. are you girls from some uni?
girl: yeah, universiti malaya, but we are representing the ministry of tourism malaysia
me: oh okay sure why not
truthfully the only reason why I chose to answer it is because I am doing a reserach my self and require respondents to respond so I know all about rejection....i feel you girl
me: *answers survey*
me: here you go
girl: thank you so much! *passes an envelope* here is a little token from the government
me: oh. thank you very much! (surprised)(wonders whats inside)
dengan perangai yang tidak senonoh opens envelope terus but quietly as the girl walks away
guess whats inside?
RM10!
wah lau
was so shock because who gives rm10 for answer a few short questions right?
thank you kerajaan malaysia!
moving on
I follow Daphne Iking on Instagram and I saw her picture:
and what are the odds I was staying in le meridien so of course I dragged my mum to go hunt this City Cafe-which is actually City Food Corner bytheway and try this Tausa Bun. it is actually a bun filled with black bean paste. if you're into red bean buns, you'll love this. totally yummy and sinful. melts in your mouth-hence you know the amount of butter in it lol
me trying to impose the Daphne Iking's pose
I think I secretly gained a few pounds there.
Clearly everyone knows the seafood in Sabah is just......amazing
 but have you tried this?
Siput tarik!
looks gross ey
but yummy! but does not taste like chicken
was a lovely trip
especially loved bonding with my parents
tinggi tinggi gunung kinabalu, tinggi lagi sayang sama kamu
