Earth Hour

So Earth Hour had just passed 2 hours ago as I am typing this, who did their part?

Earth Hour first came to Malaysia in year 2008 but it wasn't a HUGE deal back then as it was today, I remembered turning off my lights, but that was just it

It was not until in year 2009 when I was in PLKN that I really 'celebrated' Earth Hour

To be honest I freaked out when I heard my camp was going all out for the Earth Hour celebration. I was freaked out of course because I was afraid that they were going to switch off the lights.......... I am terrified of the dark-and hutan. Imagine having both of fears meeting together. I wasn't excited at all

But turns out it was one of the most amazing things that ever happened in my life, yes I was already so concern with the environment prior to this, but during the celebration, they played videos about the earth and the current condition how mother earth is dying by the minute

and I had never felt so passionate about the environment so much ever in my entire life. those videos ere eye opening

that was the start-which had slowed down a little bit now but I promise my effort has not stopped

and oh, they played music and videos all night so it wasnt scary at all! :)

so guys, never stop your effort on saving mother earth

you can start by changing your background/wallpaper of your desktop/blog wallpaper/phone

like how i did for my blog-plain black background-which saves tremendous energy per minute

do your slightest bit to change, it is never too late
